Summary of Position:

VisitPay®, a market-leading financial management solution, is growing and we are seeking someone to lead product development to achieve operational efficiency. In this role, you’ll take a product approach to solve business process problems like ETL processing, product implementations, and data warehouse architecture.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to create tools that reimagine our technical approach to business process, create leverage, and help the company achieve scalability. You’ll apply a systems mindset and be able to understand how the primary components of our system and business fit together, thinking of internal tools that helps us scale our business accordingly. You should have a passion for technical rigor, process optimization, and serving internal teams and customers.

You’ll work closely with other product managers and engineering to identify and define a holistic scope for each major initiative on the product roadmap. With your technical scope defined, you will be responsible for the successful execution and release of your product. You will also be responsible to support internal teams to provide the documentation, training, and information necessary as we roll out the software internally.

This person’s key customers are internal teams including analytics, production support, and client success, both from a requirements standpoint and end user standpoint. This person will not initially have any direct reports, but will work cross-functionally with all internal stakeholders to include, software development, IT, product management, client management, and executive leadership.

  • Advanced problem-solving and ability to turn insight into product features
  • Ability to gather requirements and needs from many internal and external sources, and synthesize those needs into coherent, actionable strategies
  • Ability to turn complex thoughts and insights into clear, written software requirements and documentation
  • Ability to present data, financial analyses, and statistics clearly and simply
  • Strong understanding of data and how it’s leveraged in business environments to drive change (big data, relational data, structured data, unstructured data are all pertinent)
  • Ability to partner and engage with a cross-section of people at multiple levels of the organization required. 
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written


  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3-5+ years of experience in technical product management with a track record of delivery
  • Experience working with/on an agile web development team
  • Experience leading product development focused on systems design and operational efficiency
  • Experience partnering with key stakeholders to understand customer needs, identify trends and feed those needs into product development 
  • Previous experience in healthcare billing and/or consumer finance, is a plus
  • Experience in implementing or leveraging predictive scoring models is a plus
  • Familiarity with and working knowledge of market-leading business intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, Cognos, Looker, etc..)
